What a state map page shows you
- Where cameras cluster — a city-by-city breakdown with each city's share of the state total.
- Which way they face — bearings bucketed into eight compass points. An ALPR reads plates only in the direction it points, so this is the most practically useful field on the map.
- Who made them — Flock Safety, Rekor, Motorola/Vigilant or Genetec, where a contributor identified the vendor.
- How complete it isn't — every page states its own coverage limits, because a surveillance map that oversells itself is worse than none.
