OpenStreetMap with man_made=surveillance and
surveillance:type=ALPR. "Vendor" is inferred from OSM's optional
manufacturer tag where a contributor has recorded it — most cameras
are tagged Unknown vendor simply because no one has added that detail yet, not
because the hardware is unidentifiable. "Type" distinguishes a fixed installation from a mobile
unit mounted on a patrol vehicle, and "Direction" is the compass bearing the camera faces, when
recorded.
