Search activity is logged, and increasingly reviewed — but review is not automatic. Flock Safety has released audit tooling in response to reported misuse; whether an individual agency uses it is a local question.
How can I find out how my city uses Flock cameras?
Three routes, in rough order of effort. Check whether your agency publishes a Flock transparency portal — a growing number do, listing camera counts, search volumes and sharing settings. Check city council agendas and minutes, where ALPR contracts are approved and renewed. And file a public-records request for the ALPR policy, the contract, and the audit logs, which is how most of the reporting collected here originated.
